US buying guide · USD price snapshots

Three sizes.
What do you get for your money?

Compare nine power stations from EcoFlow, Jackery and BLUETTI: compact, mid-size and large. See the upfront cost, battery capacity and estimated use from the same set of assumptions.

Manufacturer listings checked 30 September 2026. Research-based comparison; no hands-on testing.

Prices are a dated snapshot, not a live feed. New standalone US units only; no solar panels or extra batteries included. USD prices exclude tax and any shipping, and do not assume loyalty points or extra coupon codes. Stock, checkout prices and offers can change. Links are ordinary manufacturer links; no affiliate commissions are currently active.

Compact · around 300 Wh

Phones, lights and short laptop sessions. Small energy reserves; check the output limit before connecting larger appliances.

Mid-size · around 1,000 Wh

More room for a camping fridge and everyday electronics. Our 532 Wh/day example still needs more than these standalone batteries for two days.

Large · around 2,000 Wh

Longer trips or higher daily use. All three meet the storage estimate for our two-day example; output, ports and charging still need checking.

Showing all 9 models.

Price and power, side by side.

Wh is storage: it helps determine how long a battery lasts. W is output: it limits what you can run at once. A higher output rating does not add energy.

Price compared with what you get.

Cost per 100 Wh = listed price ÷ nominal capacity × 100. A shorter bar means less upfront cost per unit of storage. It is not a measure of product quality, lifetime value or energy cost per recharge.

What can those sizes run?

Each column is a separate use scenario, with no recharging. Estimates use 85% delivery efficiency, a 20% planning margin and zero separately modelled station overhead, consistent with our calculator. Actual runtimes vary; inverter idle draw can matter greatly for small loads.

Planning energy at the devices = nominal Wh × 0.85 ÷ 1.20. Continuous hours = planning energy ÷ device watts. Days = planning energy ÷ daily device Wh. The margin divides the available budget by 1.20; it is not a claim of a measured 20% remaining battery charge.

The fridge scenario assumes 45 W for 8 compressor-running hours per day (360 Wh). The complete camp adds a 60 W laptop for 2 hours, 8 W lights for 4 hours and 10 W phone charging for 2 hours (532 Wh/day total). Do not add the columns together. A fridge’s actual cycling depends on temperature, ventilation and use.

Even when the energy budget fits, check startup power, simultaneous AC load, individual USB/12 V limits and automatic low-load shutoff. Higher-power appliances may be incompatible with compact stations.

Use the chart without overbuying.

A larger unit can cost less per 100 Wh while still costing more upfront. Start with the smallest capacity that covers your trip with a suitable margin, then check output, carrying weight, ports, charging and warranty. The lowest storage price is not automatically the best purchase, especially if the model is unavailable.

Outside the United States?

These are US product listings and USD prices, not Australian quotes or currency conversions. Check your local model, mains voltage, outlets, warranty, taxes and seller before buying. Solar panels, extra batteries and delivery can change the total setup cost substantially.

Sources and methodology

Each model name in the price table links to its official manufacturer listing. We compare advertised standalone prices, rated nominal capacity and continuous AC output; boost modes are excluded. Stock notes reflect the page wording and are not checkout verification. Manufacturer listings were checked on 30 September 2026. The same stated runtime assumptions apply to every model; we have not tested their efficiency, durability or real-world runtime.

This is a selected nine-model comparison, not an exhaustive ranking. Read our editorial approach or send a correction.
