Using the site

This static site does not ask you to create an account. Its camping power calculator processes the values you enter in your browser; the calculator code does not send those values to us or store them between visits. You can choose to download a CSV plan or generate a link containing the numeric settings in the URL fragment. Anyone you give that link to can see those settings. The fragment is processed by your browser and is not included in the normal page request to our server. Embedded calculators on other sites load files from our hosting service, which can receive the technical information described below. We have not added advertising pixels or visitor analytics to this version of the site.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Hostinger. Serving and securing a website can involve processing technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and timestamps. See Hostinger’s privacy policy for information about its data handling.

Email

If you email us, your email address, message and any details you provide are processed through Gmail so we can respond. We use enquiries to handle the request, corrections and related follow-up. Please do not send passwords, payment information or other unnecessary sensitive details. You can ask us to delete correspondence we hold, subject to information we need to retain for a legitimate obligation or unresolved matter.

Retailer links

Links take you to third-party websites with their own privacy and cookie policies. Our current retailer links are not affiliate tracking links. If affiliate tracking, analytics, advertising or email subscriptions are added, we will update the relevant notices and any required choices before using them.

Changes and requests

This notice describes this version of our site. The date above will change when we materially update it. Contact us if you have questions or want to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you have sent us.
